ABOUT - MY - WORK

Journal Entry: Sat May 19, 2012, 1:57 AM

Embossing tin consists in transforming a metal sheet (0,5 mm.)  only with handcraft techniques in a work of art giving it volume and shape y adapting it to any surface .

My works are presented in a wide pieces variety: plaques, chests, jewellery boxes and many different kinds of boxes, pictures, portraits, frames, triptyches… or any  object you want to propose, like works for "custom" bikes (for example) where I make different pieces for supports, deposits, splash guard, saddle-bags … etc.

Many of my Works are usually requested as fine gifts for special occasions and they reproduce the church where you or your parents got married, your favourite character or your pet, with names, symbols, texts, dedications… or whatever you can imagine.

Every work of art is unique and signed.

Questions, requests , suggestions: arteymetal@hotmail.com.

Lots of thanks for watching.

Eso suena genial, amigo. Desde luego que me gustará saber de la evolución del trabajo en sí así como lo de la gallería británica.

I really think you're getting very beautiful and original, full of strength, Doug works. Much encouragement. I think you're in a nice way, mate. Forza!

May I ask what gauge of tin sheeting do you most use in your work???

you get some really beautiful/wonderful depth and contrast of field in you pieces!!!

I hope to one day carve a box in bone,  in a similar  early Spanish/Muslim style !!

Hello, mate:

Thank you very much for your comments. I've been seeing your work and you are a very fine and detailed artist. Bravo!

I would not know exactly the thickness of the sheet. Just a few microns but pewter is a material that expands a lot and can get large volumes.

Yes, I know what kind of chests you say. I'm Spanish and I always have seemed extraordinary work. Sure you're quite capable of doing a wonderful job.

Best regards.
